The Austin Chronicle has an excellent piece on director Philippe Mora‘s experiences in Prague while shooting Howling II: Your Sister Is a Werewolf. Syfy’s “Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf” trailer stole three minutes of my life

If you can’t guess what “whalewolf” means, try saying “werewolf” with your tongue stuck to the roof of your mouth. There, you just pronounced the name of a human/wolf/orca hybrid, which is more fun than you’re likely to have watching this movie. (more…)
The “Goosebumps” trailer is out & yeah, the werewolf’s pretty great

I have about 90 seconds before I have to be in a meeting so here’s the deal! The Goosebumps trailer debuted after a very short “unlock with a hashtag” campaign. As I was hoping, the werewolf is featured prominently, and despite being CG, is rendered with perfect levels of realism and cartoon villainy. (more…)

Short film “The American Werewolf Project” has a unique werewolf costume & weird backstory

This movie has such a weird history I’m not sure it even exists, and I’m afraid to rent it and break the illusion. According to its Vimeo page, The American Werewolf Project is a “throwback to the 1980’s B-Horror and camp style films”. (more…)
Dwayne Johnson to battle Ralph the giant werewolf in “Rampage” film

Deadline is reporting that Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. The Rock, will star in a live-action feature film based on classic arcade game Rampage. First released in 1986, Rampage is the original Wreck-It Ralph, in which players destroy apartment buildings and highrises as George (the giant gorilla), Lizzie (the giant lizard / dinosaur) and Ralph (the giant werewolf[?!]).
