I was digging through some unread Google Alerts from April when I came across this CNET article by Caroline McCarthy about Werewolf, a social strategy game that’s becoming increasingly popular with a group of people the article describes as “young techies”.
I’ve never played Werewolf myself, but I’ve seen high school and college students playing it with the gorgeous Millers Hollow set at a local coffee shop, and it looks like a lot of fun. I’ve read the rules and I know that it’s basically a variant of Mafia, but that’s about it. Does anyone have any comments about the game or experiences they’d like to share? It looks like something I’d like to get into, and given that it’s a social game that’s popular with the sort of person who would post a comment on a blog, I feel like this is the right place to ask.
