Apparently ShockTillYouDrop.com has agents everywhere, including France, where werewolf fans are getting a slightly different view of The Wolfman promotional materials. There’s an alternate poster (thumbnail below) and a theatrical trailer with some scenes not shown in the North American versions. Check ’em out!

Watch the new Wolfman Trailer
HOMG amazing transformation shots. That is all.
Official Wolfman Trailer
It officially debuts online and in theatres tomorrow, but Bloody Disgusting has got an early scoop on the official theatrical trailer for The Wolfman. This trailer leaves little to the imagination– werewolf attacks, multiple transformations, and a handful of scenes that I can’t wait to watch play out in their entirety. Personally, I’m stoked. Without further ado, here you go: The Wolfman trailer, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting! Watch it and post your comments– what do you think?
The Wolfman Delayed Yet Again
Okay, now I’m concerned. According to numerous sources, including the official web site, Universal has bumped the release date of The Wolfman again, this time pushing it all the way back to February 12, 2010. That’s a three month move from its previous release date of November 6 2009, and nearly 10 months off its original release date of April 9, 2009. Producer Scott Stuber says it’s strictly a marketing decision, but couple these delays with the hints of a werewolf re-design and the film’s conspicuous absense from the San Diego Comic Con and you’ve got signs of a troubled production. Not all of the new is bad, though. Word is that the first official trailer for The Wolfman will debut August 21st, with the release of Quentin Tarintino’s Inglourious Basterds.
“Living Arrangements” Film Pits Vegans Against Werewolf
Living Arrangements is an independent film by director Sam Thompson about a pair of vegans who have to contend with a new roommate’s unorthodox eating habits.
Sasha and Billie just found a new apartment right next to their favorite coffee shops and thrift stores. Life couldn’t be better until they discover a blood-thirsty werewolf living in the attic. Coping with the uninvited roommate challenges their vegan lifestyle and may turn these animal savers into animal slayers.
Check out the trailer, and visit the official web site and blog for more info, including screening details and production stills (including some closeups of the werewolf costume).
Why are there so many fun werewolf indie films out there? Oh yeah, it’s because werewolves are fucking awesome. Nice work, Living Arrangements cast and crew. Put this out on DVD and I will buy three.
Dire Wolf Trailer
If you like B-movies and unapologetic gore, you’ll want to check out the trailer (below) for Dire Wolf, a new werewolf movie from Fred Olen Ray and Retromedia Entertainment. Ray’s credits include Tomb of the Werewolf, Super Ninja Bikini Babes and Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers, so be aware that you probably don’t want to show this trailer to your mom.
Monty Python-style gore, a storyline borrowed from Jurassic Park and a werewolf costume that’s not obscured by cheesy, shadowy night shots? This looks like a lot of schlocky, low-budget, tongue-in-cheek fun. Check out direwolfmovie.org for photos and more info.
Underworld: Rise of the Lycans – Trailer
If you haven’t already seen it, there’s an official trailer out for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. There’s a lot of blue filters, eye makeup, improbable armour and clumsy sword-ballet… but there’s also an army of werewolves and a particularly vicious-looking Bill Nighy. Take a look for yourself.
Of additional interest is this review (yes, a trailer review) by Jason Roestel of Movie Examiner. Among other things, Roestel opines that “the werewolves in costume… look so 1955.” While you can kind of tell they don’t have as big a budget as the previous two films, I thought the werewolves looked great. What do you think?
New Trailer for Timo Rose’s Beast
Fans of German filmmaker Timo Rose will be pleased to know there’s a new (NSFW for gore and a little skin) trailer out for his werewolf gore-fest Beast. If you’re into gore, black humour and very earnest efforts at acting, check it out!
Wheelchair Werewolf
ArcLight sent in this fake (but awesome) trailer by Joe Avella, for a handi-capable horror film called Wheelchair Werewolf.
If this site made any money, I’d put ArcLight on the payroll and task him with finding ridiculous stuff like this. “Almost no-one can escape… Wheelchair Werewolf!”
