Is Robert Downey Jr. producing a werewolf movie? The answer is: maybe

A. Quinton — May. 2nd 2014

Deadline reports that Susan Downey and her somewhat famous husband Robert will be producing “Cloaked”, a “supernatural horror comedy in the vein of An American Werewolf In London”. Dread Central has gone so far as to label the project “a werewolf tale”, but a comparison to AWIL doesn’t necessarily mean werewolves, Mickey Mouse figurines or a decomposing Griffin Dunne.

The script is based on a concept by Robert and is being written by Derek Connolly (whose $100 million project “Monster Trucks” is currently being filmed just down the road from me). The project has been picked up by Warner Bros, who have already greenlit the first Team Downey film “The Judge“, which stars a lot of awesome people.

So, in short, we don’t know what this movie is about, but based on its pedigree it has the potential to be awesome, with or without werewolves.

“I don’t know, it’s kind of a cool deal to me that I got this in my twitter notifications, Robert Downey Jr favorited your Tweet. It was a tweet about Autumn Moon.”

Robert Downey could play David Kessler’s younger brother … the adult Max! He would be coming to London after many years of David’s death on towards to find out “the truth” about those terrible and obscure events of the past. Therefore … might be his turn to face the Lamb’s curse … it remains around there!

Beware with the moon Max !! Rick Backer and Anne Marie Davis are required!!
