Scream Factory’s new art for “Dog Soldiers”

If you weren’t already excited about Scream Factory’s upcoming re-release of Dog Soldiers, get ready to have your wrong feelings corrected. If you were already excited, prepare to get hyped to the next level. The Criterion of horror just Facebook-posted the new art for their edition of the 2002 werewolf classic, and it’s exquisite.

The cover shows the doomed and not-so-doomed cast surrounded by all the werewolves that were never in the shed in the first place. I have to admit that I’m not a big fan of the werewolf design in this movie – too gangly – but artist Nathan Thomas Milliner‘s work here goes a long way towards changing my mind. This is the second werewolf movie cover Milliner’s done for Scream Factory – he also did the new cover for their re-release of The Howling last year.

Accompanying the cover image are some details on the disc’s production:

Production on extras have just begun and we’ll have full details to report to you as to what they are in mid-April. Pre-order links on our site at ScreamfactoryDVD.com should appear in March in which a limited edition 18″ x 24″ poster of the art will be available exclusively through us with purchase of the combo.

Available June 24th. Come on, you beauties!
