My condolences…that is very heartbreaking to hear. I have an old but otherwise fairly healthy dog myself and I can only imagine what it will be like when he passes. He truly is part of the family and I do not look forward to that day. I’m glad you have a good perspective on it as well.

I am very sorry for your loss. A choice like that is hard to make. I’ve had to do it myself and it was very painful. At least now Keesha is no longer ill or in pain. Hold to the happy memories of her and with time the pain of loss will ease.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost three of my babies last year, and I know the pain that comes with it. Nothing can ever truly take their place.

I am so sorry to hear this. I know no words will easy your pain, now. But after having to put down 2 family members in my life (our Alaskian Malamute Sam and later our chocolate lab Harley) I can sympathize with how this feels and what you’re going through. I hope find peace and solace in the memories you’ve made with Keesha and the love you shared.

Sorry to hear this Andy, we’ve had to put one of our pets down, a staffy named Taz, down because he was in so much pain from having degenerating hips. Although you know it’s the right option, it’s the most painful thing in this world.
