As others have mentioned, the ears look quite ridiculas and take away the image the Wolfman might have had. To be honest, I think a preschooler dressed up as a werewolf for Halloween is more terrifying.

I also wonder what it is with vampires these days. Personally, I liked vampires *before* they were “cool”. It’s pathetic that all these bloody daywalkers–pardon the pun–have been illusioned that some tortured soul who happens to be “a vegetarian vampire” is going to come and sweep them off feet. +rolls eyes+

From what I’ve seen from the movie, despite it’s seemingly high production values, it serves only for one purpose: to cash in on the popularity of the books and the vampire craze. To top it all off, the werewolf looks more like a monkey than the Monkey-girl.

I’d much rather spend my Halloween at home, watching Trick r’ Treat, which (not to spoil much) has an interesting and enjoyable take upon werewolves. Definitely worth a watch.
