It looks very similar to the Underworld werewolves, but I rather like the human-leaning look so I'm not complaining.

Ah, here is a beast who's 100% in line with our site owner's aesthetic! With the light muzzle and distinct old-school monster vibe, this is a wolf of whom Warren Zevon could say "I'd like to meet his tailor" even though he appears to be wearing only a tanktop. But since he's this bad-ass / GQ anyway, I guess that his fur-stylist must be Zohan.

Also, I don't recall any lycanthropic awesomeness in Mary Shelly, but I'm certainly willing to overlook that in this case. Plus, I'd like to think that Shelly wouldn't mind a spinoff of her work with growly dark animal-people in it...with the exception of Van Tardsing. In my biased opinion, the kick-assity of Van Helsing's werewolves will reign supreme for a while, although that was counterbalanced by the idiocy of frikkin' Frankenstein SWINGING HUNDREDS OF FEET THROUGH THE AIR ON CASTLE-DRAWBRIDGE CABLES. Not only did Shelly roll over in her grave at that scene, but she practically burst out of it like The Bride in Kill Bill II.

All I'm saying is that I'm a literary purist, and if there's going to be another Frankenstein movie featuring werewolves, it needs to be good. Bring on the lycanthropic goodness, but please do justice to Shelly and PLEASE don't swing from cables like Tarzan.
