Nike Dunk Low Premium - Teen Wolf

Okay, depending on who you listen to this might have been news six months ago, but I’ve never seen them before today and they’re too awesome not to share. Feast your eyes on these Dunk Low Premium Teen Wolf sneakers, courtesy of Nike. I guess these are what Michael J. Fox / Scott Howard would have worn in Teen Wolf if he wasn’t able to grow his own fur. They’re designed in the colours of the Beavers, Scott’s high school basketball team, and they sport crazy brown fur around the ankles and down the tongue. These were released as part of the Nike Media pack, which featured three pairs of sneakers created in honour of classic basketball movies (the other two films that inspired designs were Hoosiers and White Men Can’t Jump). Apparently only 72 were created, but you can still buy them directly from Osneaker.com for $200 US, and there are a few pairs floating around on eBay. Roukas, get your credit card ready! More photos after the break, courtesy of Osneaker.

  • Sigh…now I’ve seen it all.

Very occasionally, there are times in life where I feel that God throws me a bone just so that I can blow off some animalistic steam and not go completely crazy with modern life.

This is one of those times. These shoes are like something that would be found in the Ark of the Covenant. They are hilarious, sexy, rarr, and silly all in one. I’m hesitant to throw down for them right now (do they have to be so expensive?), but if I do, I’ll be sure to rock them on the streets of Hoboken, NJ and enjoy their auto-moonwalk feature on the waterfront.

Aw, no size 13 ? I can sometimes fit into a 12, depending on the shoe.

They go from 7.5 to 10. Very cool, I would’ve put down the cash for them right now (even though I really don’t have it), but oh well.

I’ve been getting some ideas for a wicked but basic Halloween costume idea. I’ve always wanted to do a full suit, but a well-made one (and would probably wanna do it on a year when I’ve been good about going to the gym, ’cause even though at 6’2 I have the height for a quality intimidating wolf costume, bulking up some would help and not require as much padding for musculature). But since it would take a lot of creativity and know-how with the sewing and designing and all that, something like these shoes (or those dress shoes that had the claws sticking out that were seen a while back, although those weren’t for sale and were custom made), plus other props I find, would’ve been cool. A more homage-styled, maybe comedic costume. And then just let my shaggy hair grow out and have some facial scruff. We’ll see. Definitely not happening this Halloween.
