...but a while ago I did read the first few chapters of a book that was a comedic take on the reverse-werewolf concept. It&#039;s called &quot;Howling Mad&quot; by Peter David, and it has tinges of the classic movie &quot;Being There&quot; (which was actually adapted from a book). Essentially, a normal wolf is bitten by a werewolf, he turns into a man periodically, and he suddenly has to navigate his way around the bizarre culture of human kind. For comedy&#039;s sake, the types of people he runs into are usually hyperboles of the subcultures or groups they would belong to in real life, but the formula works pretty well. The cover itself says a lot, and is pretty damn funny:
